Going step by step starting with the stem. Have a few more stem motifs to get done then will go to the next. Doing one color all the way at a time has been much more easier than getting done each motif on a whole.. So me getting back to stitching.. See u soon
I have used satin stitch for the petals, hungarian braided chain for the green thread, and detached buttonhole stitch for the center. I tried to match it with thw birder design stitches.. I still am working on the border but wanted to check out how the pallu motif would look once done.. What say... is it ok?? Any suggestions
I am back !!! I know.. Thats what I say all the time then go missing... And I'm really sorry about that.. So this is what I'm working on right now... Chain stitch for the stem.. Satin for the leaves and the main design is a combination of detachable buttonhole and satin... What say??
FIRST ATMEPT AT SAREE EMBROIDERY.... bought some plain sarees to try out hand embroidery and it was fun...and now once I am done with the designs can't wait to start doing more. Saree - 1- Satin stitch, running stitch and herringbone stitch Saree -2 - Chain stitch with sequence
Finally I settled for a simple design and started on it. But I don't get much time to sit with it. It's a very slow progress but what I have done so far is this... tatda..
I started this project with the hope of finishing it soon..I had it all planned out.and it was coming out just fine until this point..after finishing so much i'm stuck now at deciding what design to do in between the lines, should i use multi colour thread and with what stitch. I had decided on circular design with the chemanthy stitch but at this point i am doubtful about how good it would be.. any suggestions???
